Ballistic Vest Search Warrants Served

IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 8, 2004

The Department of Defense announced today that agents from the department’s Inspector General’s Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS) and other military criminal investigative organizations executed search warrants in seven states as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of stolen military ballistic protective equipment on Internet auction sites.
