Concord Monitor Online - Trial begins for Abu Ghraib officer

[Lt. Col.] Jordan, who is subject to a possible 41 years in prison, faced his accusers in Fort Meade, Md., in a hearing to determine whether the charges are sufficient for a general court martial.

JAG Hunter here: Lt. Col. Jordan was able to face his accusers during the Article 32, as compared to the Marines at Camp Pendleton who've been obstructed from facing their accusers.

Also this -- An Article 32 disciplinary hearing is not a trial, nor is it part of a trial.
