NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- A military appeals court has refused to provide classified materials to the lawyer of an Air Force pilot charged with dereliction of duty for accidentally bombing Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan, killing four.

(JAG Hunter note: Another outrage!! Air Force officials are bent on convicting and locking up Harry Schmidt, an innocent man, to placate the Cadanian government in a political sop. Maj. Schmidt's attorney, Charles Gittins, is a 1979 Naval Academy and Marine Corps flight officer (fighter jets). Counselor Gittins has held the highest clearances granted by the U.S. government. For an Air Force appeals court to deny Schmidt's motion is to blatantly and publicly admit to a political "show trial."
