U.S. pilot loses bid to delay court-martial decision

HALIFAX (CP) - The pilot who killed four Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan has failed to win extra time to decide if he'll risk a court-martial to clear his name.
The U.S. military rejected a request by the pilot's lawyer, Charles Gittins, to have a deadline extended several days beyond Wednesday, while they consider their options.
