Senator Sam J. ErvinJAG Hunter here: Command influence translates into "rigged process." There is no oversight of senior commanders. They are free to do as they please. Nothing new here.
Critics call the review tribunal a rigged process, since military officers will judge the cases, while other officers act as counsel for the detainees.
