Pfc. Edward Richmond, 20, is charged with unpremeditated murder for allegedly shooting Muhamad Husain Kadir in the head on Feb. 28 near Taal Al Jai. The Army says Kadir was handcuffed and unarmed. Richmond faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
