Citizen Soldiers

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- The ongoing operations against al Qaida terrorists and Taliban extremists came to a halt briefly Friday in Kandahar for nearly four dozen U.S. soldiers, who traded weapons for pens in pursuit of another common objective -- swapping green cards for papers declaring them citizens of the United States.
